Choose an appropriate bed

Review the product photographs, description and any listed dimensions before ordering. Consider the pet’s size, weight, sleeping position, mobility and chewing habits. No pet bed is indestructible or suitable for every animal.

Supervision and inspection

Introduce a new bed under supervision. Check seams, covers, fasteners, inserts and cushioning regularly. Stop use if parts become loose, torn, exposed or small enough to swallow. Keep packaging away from pets and children.

Cleaning

Follow the care instructions supplied with the specific item. Remove loose hair before cleaning, close fasteners where applicable and ensure all components are completely dry before use. Do not assume every cover, insert or frame is machine washable.

Placement and environment

Place the bed on a stable, dry surface away from open flames, heaters and unsafe edges. Elevated, enclosed or hooded styles should be used only where the pet can enter and exit comfortably. Pet beds are not restraints, carriers or substitutes for veterinary care.

Sensitivity

Discontinue use if a pet shows irritation, distress or unusual behavior and seek qualified veterinary advice when appropriate.
